Dear parents/patients,
The Government has issued warnings just before the New Year that a surge in INFLUENZA INFECTIONS is likely to occur starting from January 2020 in Hong Kong.
As you know, INFLUENZA INFECTION is among the worst of viral respiratory infections.
It’s yearly epidemic, peaking between January to March, causes many admissions (9/10,000 population for <5 years), complications (>600) and deaths (>300) in Hong Kong.
As we are already entering into the epidemic, we want to remind you to send your children and yourself for vaccination AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
For those who are already vaccinated, please continue to exercise caution and adhere to personal hygiene measures against droplet spread of infection.
